Life by Bike
We believe bicycling is a healthy, affordable, and environmentally friendly form of transportation and recreation that should be safe and attractive to everyone who wants to ride, wherever their destination and whatever their purpose. Bicycling is good for our communities and for the people who ride, and so we work to increase the number of people who ride bikes as a regular part of their lives.

BLVD To Beach Community is back! Join us on Saturday March 9th for a coastal bike ride, free lunch and your chance to discover what Silver Strand has to offer!
Meet at 9:30AM at Chicano Park. Ride out at 10:00AM. We’ll ride the Bayshore Bikeway to Silver Strand State Beach. At Silver Strand we will enjoy free lunch and hear directly from @CAStateParks Staff about what Silver Strand State Beach has to offer!
Be sure to get your bike tuned up beforehand at your local bike shop. We recommend City Heights based @staytruecycleworks !
Plan for a beginner/intermediate paced ride, we highly encourage to bring spare innertubes in case of flats. There will be a few breaks along the way.
The ride is approximately 14 miles one-way and it may take up to 3.5 hours to arrive at Silver Strand State Beach. After lunch, you are welcome to join ride leaders back to Chicano Park via a different route which includes riding the Coronado Ferry. The cost of the ferry ride is between $8-8.50 per person. Be sure to bring money for the ferry ride back and anticipate returning to Chicano Park between 4-4:30pm.

Triumphing over the oppressed Palestinian people and in retaliation for the American-British aggression against our country. The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a targeting operation against an Israeli ship “MSC SKY” in the Arabian Sea with a number of suitable naval missiles, and the hit was accurate and direct. The targeting operation came only hours after carrying out a qualitative operation during which the missile force and unmanned air force launched a number of ballistic missiles and drones at a number of enemy American warships in the Red Sea. The Yemeni armed forces confirm that they will continue to prevent Israeli navigation or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted, and that they will not hesitate to carry out more military operations in the Red and Arab Seas against all hostile targets in defense of beloved Yemen and in confirmation of support for the oppressed Palestinian people. Through these two operations, the Yemeni Armed Forces confirm their ability to target warships and non-warships simultaneously, and that their operations are escalating and continuing in the Red and Arab Seas, the Gulf of Aden, and Bab al-Mandab, until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.
