Carlsbad Village Music is a unique boutique music school and retail shop selling everything from guitars and amplifiers to violins and ukulele’s to banjos, keyboards, and harmonicas. They even sell didgeridoos. Their instrument rental and rent to own program is ideal for beginners and those searching for their next favorite instrument. Carlsbad Village Music is proud to be an exclusive distributor of Fender guitars, the musical instrument synonymous with all things rock n’ roll. An American icon, Fender was founded in Southern California over 70 years ago, and their electric, acoustic, and bass guitars are now available right here in downtown Carlsbad. 

The Carlsbad Village Music school provides lessons both onsite, in person, and online. Their virtual capabilities were honed as soon as the health pandemic hit allowing the instructors to continue working with their students. Now they are also back in-person and safer than ever. They teach most instruments including piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, violin, viola, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, flute, saxophone, clarinet, and harmonic. All ages are welcome and adults who have never played an instrument before are highly encouraged.

While everyone loves music, the owner, Janine Thomas, understands that not everyone plays music. Yet. That is why she created The Village Vibe.
