The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is proud to be working alongside the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, Republic Services, and Team Priya Bhat-Patel for a Plastic Free July Social Media Challenge here in Carlsbad! We want to encourage everyone to try to reduce their carbon footprint by eliminating or drastically reducing their usage of plastic, especially single use plastic.
From July 17th - 26th, 2023, we encourage you to post a picture of you and/or your loved ones reducing your plastic use and being more sustainable. Be sure to follow @carlsbadvillage, @carlsbadchamber, @republic_services, @itsplastic_beach, and @priyabhatpatel and use the hashtag #PlasticFreeCarlsbad in order to enter the giveaway.
Rules about entries and the giveaway prizes will be announced by July 17th. Stay tuned. It's going to be so worth it!
