Local Realtor, Chanel Bennett, Becomes CVA's New Vice Chair

Chanel Bennett wears many hats. Realtor, business owner, board member, committee member, volunteer. And she takes on all roles with incredible energy, enthusiasm, and style.

As a Realtor with First Team Real Estate in Carlsbad Village, Chanel specializes in North County San Diego properties but also represents prospective buyers and sellers throughout all of San Diego County. When asked what she loves the most about her profession, she had a hard timing choosing just one thing. She went on to say, “I really love helping my clients find a place where they’ll make wonderful memories. And, I also love when they send me photos of their remodels and projects taking place after they move in. It’s rewarding to be part of their excitement as they make their new home their own.”

Chanel brings her own level of excitement to several community organizations she is involved with including the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA). Chanel became a volunteer with CVA well before joining its board of directors in late 2019 and subsequently became an integral part of its events and promotions team. In January of this year, Chanel became the association’s Vice Chair, joining the Executive Committee team of Zac Markham, Chair (Humble Olive Oils), and Joli Hatch, Secretary/Treasurer (Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort).

According to CVA’s Executive Director, Christine Davis, “In addition to her continued commitment to the CVA Board and furthering CVA’s mission to enhance and promote the business community, Chanel has been instrumental as a volunteer helping our Farmers’ Market thrive as an essential business during the health pandemic. She has been there weekly since we reopened in May and we cannot thank her enough for her dedication to this community event.”

Whether in her role as a dedicated Realtor or business owner, or as an engaged member of the Carlsbad Young Professionals or Carlsbad Village Association, or as a committed volunteer, Chanel always makes a difference!
