27 Years of Creativity at the Coast
The Carlsbad Village Association proudly presents the 27th Annual Art in the Village, a vibrant, free, one-day celebration of fine art, creativity, and community in the heart of Carlsbad Village.
About the Event
Transforming the streets of Carlsbad Village into an open-air gallery, this beloved tradition showcases 150 local and regional juried artists featuring an impressive array of mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, glasswork, mixed media, and more.
Attendees can meet the artists, watch live sculpting demonstrations, glassblowing, printmaking, and experience the creative process up close. This year, the event is excited to welcome back the popular Chalk Zone, featuring five incredible artists who will create live throughout the day.
Families are invited to explore hands-on activities at the City of Carlsbad’s Pop-Up Art: An Interactive Encounter booth, encouraging creative artmaking for all ages.
In addition to three incredible musical acts ranging from lively country western to soulful R&B on the State Street Main Stage starting at 11:00am, live musicians will perform throughout the Village, providing a fabulous soundtrack to a day filled with art and inspiration.
Location
Carlsbad Village is located just steps from the beach, featuring charming streets filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it the perfect setting for a day of art and culture.
