Coaster

The Coaster commuter rail, run by North County Transit District, makes frequent stops between downtown San Diego and Oceanside. Hop on in Carlsbad Village to head to a Padre game, or board at Union Station downtown and enjoy your trip north to Carlsbad! It's one of the most scenic train rides around - keep your eyes out for dolphins!

Metrolink

From Orange County or Los Angeles, take Metrolink to Oceanside and transfer to the NCTD Breeze bus line 101 to “VA/UTC.” The bus stops at the Carlsbad Village Train Station.

Parking

There is ample parking at the Carlsbad Village station just adjacent to and to the north of the station, paralleling the tracks. Visit the NCTD site North County Transit District to learn about long term parking at the Coaster Station.

Restaurants, coffee shops, retail boutiques, salons, services and more are all within a short walk from the Carlsbad Village station. And, every Wednesday, starting at 3pm, Carlsbad Village hosts one of the finest certified organic Farmers' Market complete with fresh, local produce, artisan foods, hot foods, crafters, and live music.
