Holiday Spirit Adorns Carlsbad Village Business Windows

Thanks to First Team Real Estate and the support of the City of Carlsbad Cultural Arts Office, over 30 downtown businesses have been adorned with the whimsical artwork of local artist Monica Martin. Following a fall motif during the Feels Like Fall in the Village campaign, the new holiday inspired windows were completed the first week in December and will remain through the New Year. The temporary public art project was designed to connect a local artist with downtown small business owners in an effort to bring artistic expression to the Village. The businesses are located on State Street, Carlsbad Village Drive, Grand Avenue, and Carlsbad Blvd. Stay tuned for more temporary public art projects downtown in 2021.
