The magic of STEM learning.

The Village Faire is hosting a free STEM & Magic experience, an educational program that teaches basic scientific principles to kids using magic as "a hook."

Loosely modeled after the Impossible Science Festival at the Fleet Science Center, STEM & Magic consists of five or six scientific or magic apparatus to give participants a “hands-on” experience.  There is also a “guide” to help and explain the apparatus.  All supplies, props, and labor are provided without charge by the Meigs Family Foundation.

STEM & Magic will also be offering a version of this program at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon on March 12, 2022 with similar programs having been held at San Diego County Libraries, SAY San Diego and YMCA after-school programs, Kroc Center, Boys & Girl Clubs, Fleet Science Center, Ronald McDonald House, Nativity Prep Academy, and the Del Mar Fair.
