Carlsbad elementary school students are invited to help paint a mural with Carlsbad artist and Valley Middle School art teacher Mr. Snyder. The wall will be prepped with a fun and colorful design and all supplies will be provided courtesy of the Alley Art Wall. All materials provided.
“I’m looking to provide a fun and inspiring day for students while also introducing them to my elective class art program offered at Valley Middle School,” Mr. Snyder said. “The Explore Wheel is the perfect option for students looking to try multiple creative classes throughout the school year.”
This elective option is available to all incoming Valley Middle School 6th graders. If incoming 6th graders choose the Explore Wheel, they will explore art with Mr. Snyder before rotating another creative class experience.
The mural painting event takes place at the Alley Art Wall, a collection of 17 permanent murals as well as a dedicated recreational mural space where aspiring muralists of all ages can practice their skills and grow their passion for mural painting. The Alley Art Wall was established by Mr. Snyder in 2021.
