Carlsbad Music Festival presents Sangam as the first in our new Sonic Chapel concert series. Sangam is a chamber music duo of sitarist Paul Livingstone and cellist Peter Jacobson that performs innovative compositions and improvisations straddling the worlds of Indian classical music and European polyphony. Their unique counterpoint is imbibed with the free spirit of a jazz  improvisation and incorporates touches of Latin and popular music styles. For this concert Sangam will be joined by Miles Shrewsbery, a tabla disciple of Abhiman Kaushal. Concessions and merchandise will be available for sale 1 hour prior to the start of the performance, as well as at intermission.
