Village Mural Tour

Join us for our first Village Mural Tour on Aug. 9, and take a visual journey of the Village’s rich culture and artistic talent through the lens of a half dozen murals. From large, playful pieces seen from the center of the Village, to hidden works adorning alley walls, the mural tour will tell the tales behind the art, including the people, places and artists themselves.

The hour-long walking tour visit six of the Village’s most notable murals, beginning at the Village’s newest mural, “The Robot” by local artist Jason Markow at the corner of State St. and Carlsbad Village Dr., and end at Michael Summers’ “Cat Nap” on the exterior of Witch Creek Winery. Attendees are encouraged to join the tour leaders and select artists for a glass of wine at Witch Creek Winery immediately following the tour.

The free Village Mural Tour will take place on Aug. 9 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by an artist meet and greet wine reception at Witch Creek Winery from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The tour will meet and kick-off at 6 p.m. promptly at CHOICE Superfood & Juicery located at 430 Carlsbad Village Dr. Mural tour participants must RSVP to cva@thenthelement.com to confirm attendance.
