One winner will be selected in each of the following five categories:
- Classic Holiday Charm – Celebrate timeless holiday traditions and warm, nostalgic décor. (Voted for by judges)
- Children’s Delight – Designs that bring out the wonder and joy of the season for kids of all ages. (Voted for by Boys & Girls Club of Carlsbad)
- Most Creative Display – Unique, bold, and unexpected designs that capture the magic of the holidays. (Voted for by judges)
- Best of Carlsbad Spirit – A true reflection of Carlsbad’s coastal character and community pride. (Voted for by judges)
- People’s Choice Award – Voted on by the public, this crowd favorite shines bright with community support.
Why Enter?
- All participants will be featured on CVA’s website (600K annual visits), social media (60K+ followers), and newsletter (7,200 subscribers).
- Category winners will receive a full-page feature in the January/February issue of Carlsbad Magazine.
- The People’s Choice winner will also receive a free 1/4-page ad in Carlsbad Magazine and restaurant gift cards for up to 10 team members.

- Early-Bird Sign-Up Deadline: Wednesday, November 26, 2025
- Decorations Completed By: Wednesday, December 3, 2025
- (Participants are encouraged to complete displays by November 29 for Small Business Saturday exposure.)
- Voting Begins: Wednesday, December 3, 2025, announced in CVA’s newsletter and on social media.
- Voting Ends: Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 5:00pm PST.
- Winners Announced: Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in CVA’s newsletter and on social media.
