Our Holiday Makers Market Returns December 7th, 2024!

Our 7th Annual Holiday Makers Market on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at St. Michael's by-the Sea Episcopal Church was a jolly success! Carlsbad Village Makers Market (a Holiday Showcase) is a handcrafted marketplace where people can shop for the best American-made goods just in time for the holidays! It is a celebration of 40 local and regional artisans and independent makers in a fun, comfortable outdoor environment.

Showcasing Creative & Artistic Makers From Southern California

Find handmade, vintage, up-cycled, and unique goods at this all juried art and handcrafted marketplace that will highlight the crafter's creativity in woodworking, leatherwork, 3D functional art, natural jewelry, beading, fabric creations, repurposed materials, artisan foods, and much more.

Toy Drive And Pictures With Santa

With a professional photographer behind the camera this year, photos with Santa were free of charge to all who bring one new, unwrapped toy to the "Toys For Tots" toy drive, in time for this year's photo card! Thank you to Chanel Bennett, First Team Real Estate for sponsoring this year's Toys for Tots Toy Drive.

This year's prizes included "must-have" raffle gifts for toy donors who brought unwrapped, new toys for kids of all ages including a Cobra Puma golf bag that includes a two-some at The Crossings, a Throtl merchandise gift basket, two Food + Sip Stop Tickets to the 2024 Taste of Carlsbad Village event , and more! Thank you to all who came and made a difference in the lives of local children and their families.

Public parking is plentiful in the Village. Many casual and fine dining establishments are within steps from the venue as is shopping at a wide variety of boutiques, salons, and galleries.

St. Michael's by-the Sea Episcopal Church will turn into an open-air makers market. St. Michael's was built in 1884 and its historic buildings and campus are a beautiful backdrop to this outdoor artisan market. All applicants are juried and only self-designed and handcrafted items will exhibit in this venue. The Makers Market is a free community event.
