A Milestone Year Takes the Stage: NVA’s 25th Anniversary Season

A major milestone is taking center stage in Carlsbad Village. Longtime Carlsbad Village Association member and community partner New Village Arts has announced its 25th Anniversary Season, celebrating a quarter century of bringing professional theatre, arts education, and community connection to the heart of the Village.

The upcoming season features an exciting mix of musicals, comedy, classic theatre, and contemporary storytelling, beginning in August 2026 and running through July 2027:

• We Will Rock You | August 7 – September 13, 2026
• As You Like It | October 16 – November 29, 2026
• Cabaret | January 29 – March 14, 2027
• Furlough’s Paradise | April 9 – May 9, 2027
• In The Heights | June 4 – July 18, 2027

For 25 seasons, New Village Arts has helped make Carlsbad Village a destination for arts and culture, creating meaningful experiences that bring audiences, artists, and community members together. Located in the heart of downtown, the theater has become a beloved gathering place where creativity thrives and stories come to life.

This anniversary season not only celebrates the organization’s rich history but also looks toward the future with a lineup designed to entertain, inspire, and spark conversation. From the music of Queen and the timeless wit of Shakespeare to award-winning musicals and powerful contemporary works, Season 25 offers something for every theatergoer.
