A Morning of Innovation, Updates and Connection at Village Voices on Tues. September 9

Join us next Tuesday, September 8, for our next Village Voices, bringing together local businesses, residents, and community leaders for a morning of conversation, connection, and timely updates from around Carlsbad Village.

This month, we are excited to welcome Aptera Motors, a Carlsbad-based company working at the forefront of solar mobility and ultra-efficient transportation. Headquartered right here in Carlsbad, Aptera is developing a solar electric vehicle that combines integrated solar technology with an aerodynamic design engineered to dramatically reduce the energy needed for everyday driving. Its integrated solar cells are designed to provide up to 40 miles of solar-powered driving per day, depending on conditions.

Even better, attendees will have an opportunity to experience Aptera firsthand. Come see the vehicle up close, sit behind the wheel, and learn more about the technology behind it, as well as how this innovative company is contributing to Carlsbad’s local working economy.

We’ll also introduce several new CVA members, giving attendees a chance to meet some of the newest businesses and organizations joining our Village community.

Our Member Business Spotlight will feature Carlsbad Village Music, a longtime local destination for musicians and music lovers. Be sure to stick around for a fantastic door prize giveaway, too!

There is plenty happening throughout the Village, and CVA’s Executive Director Christine Davis will provide updates on two important local development projects, 840 Carlsbad Village Drive and Carlsbad Village Square, including what is happening now and what to expect moving forward.

And with the holiday season quickly approaching, we’ll share details about sponsorship opportunities for CVA’s holiday programming and ways local businesses can get involved and connect with the community during one of the busiest and most festive times of the year.
