With daylight saving time coming to an end and the days getting shorter, the State Street Farmers Market is officially transitioning to its winter schedule! Beginning Wednesday, November 4, the market will be open every Wednesday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, giving shoppers plenty of time to enjoy one of Carlsbad Village’s favorite weekly traditions before the sun sets.
As we settle into November, the changing season brings a fresh selection of fall and winter favorites to the market. From crisp apples, pears, persimmons, and citrus to hearty squash, sweet potatoes, leafy greens, and root vegetables, local farmers have everything you need to bring the flavors of the season to your table. And with Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start planning those holiday meals with fresh, locally grown ingredients.
Beyond the farm stands, shoppers can explore a wonderful variety of artisan food vendors offering freshly baked breads, homemade dips, soups, honey, specialty foods, and other handcrafted treats. Whether you’re stocking up for the week, grabbing a quick dinner, or simply enjoying a midweek stroll through the Village, there’s always something delicious to discover.
While the evenings may be getting shorter, the State Street Farmers Market remains a year-round destination for fresh food, local favorites, and community connection. Bundle up, bring your reusable bags, and join us every Wednesday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you at the market!
