Adoption Day Hosted by Carlsbad Pet & Feed: Meet Your New Best Friend

This Saturday, April 18 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, our CVA partner member Carlsbad Pet and Feed will be hosting a special adoption event in collaboration with PAWS4Thought Animal Rescue.

If you are out enjoying the community clean-up or taking a stroll through the village, this is the perfect chance to stop in, meet adoptable dogs, and support a local rescue making a real difference.

PAWS4Thought Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) all-breed rescue dedicated to saving dogs from high-risk shelters, as well as rescuing abandoned, abused, and stray animals throughout the U.S. and in the Tijuana and Rosarito regions.

Their mission goes beyond rescue. Each dog receives medical care, rehabilitation, and the stability of a foster home while they wait for their forever family. Every adoption is thoughtfully matched to ensure the best fit for both the dog and their new home. The organization also supports the community through education and provides low-cost and free spay and neuter services to help reduce pet overpopulation and prevent future animals from entering shelters.

Powered entirely by volunteers, fosters, and donors, this rescue depends on community support to continue its life-saving work.
