Appointments Still Available for the Heart of the Village Blood Drive This September

The Heart of the Village Blood Drive returns to Carlsbad Village on Saturday, September 26, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and additional donors are still needed to help make this community blood drive a success.

Hosted in partnership with the San Diego Blood Bank, the mobile blood drive will take place in the Barrio Glassworks Parking Lot, located at 3060 Roosevelt Street in Carlsbad Village. Appointments are available throughout the day for both whole blood and double red cell donations.

Maintaining a reliable blood supply depends on volunteer donors throughout our region. Each appointment helps the San Diego Blood Bank provide lifesaving blood products for patients undergoing surgeries, receiving cancer treatments, experiencing emergencies and facing other critical medical needs.

As an added thank-you, those who present to donate with the San Diego Blood Bank during the month of September will receive a SeaWorld San Diego Howl-O-Scream ticket, while supplies last.
