Local Musicians and Performers Take the Stage at Art in the Village

Art in the Village is known for transforming downtown Carlsbad into an open-air gallery filled with incredible artwork, but the creativity doesn’t stop at the booths. Throughout the day on Sunday, June 28, from 10:00am to 6:00pm, visitors will also enjoy a vibrant lineup of live music, theatrical performances, and interactive entertainment woven throughout the Village.

This year’s entertainment program showcases a diverse mix of local musicians, singer-songwriters, bands, and performing artists, creating a lively soundtrack for one of Carlsbad’s favorite annual traditions.

Main Stage Performances

The Main Stage will feature live performances from three talented local bands, along with special appearances by cast members from Hairspray, currently playing at New Village Arts, who will treat audiences to a brief preview of selections from the show's energetic and beloved soundtrack.

Visitors can also stop by the South State Music Stage where State Street meets Carlsbad Village Drive, hosted by Carlsbad Village Music, downtown’s very own music school. In addition to live performances by students and instructors, families can enjoy free lessons, demonstrations, performances by staff and students and discounted instruments.

As you stroll through the festival, you’ll discover talented musicians performing throughout the Village, adding to the creative atmosphere around every corner.
