Local Musicians and Performers Take the Stage at Art in the Village

Art in the Village is known for transforming downtown Carlsbad into an open-air gallery filled with incredible artwork, but the creativity doesn’t stop at the booths. Throughout the day on Sunday, June 28, visitors will also enjoy a vibrant lineup of live music, theatrical performances, and interactive entertainment woven throughout the Village.

This year’s entertainment program showcases a diverse mix of local musicians, singer-songwriters, bands, and performing artists, creating a lively soundtrack for one of Carlsbad’s favorite annual traditions.

Main Stage Performances

The Main Stage will feature live performances throughout the day, including special appearances by cast members from Hairspray, currently playing at New Village Arts.

  • Hairspray Cast (New Village Arts) | 10:00–10:30 AM
  • Zavala Sol | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
  • Hairspray Cast (New Village Arts) | 1:30–3:30 PM
  • David Spitzfaden | 4:00–6:00 PM

Visitors can also stop by the Carlsbad Village Music Stage, hosted by Carlsbad Village Music, the Village’s own music school. In addition to live performances by students and instructors, families can enjoy interactive, hands-on musical activities designed for kids of all ages.

As you stroll through the festival, you’ll discover talented musicians performing throughout the Village, adding to the creative atmosphere around every corner.

Whether you’re browsing artwork, meeting artists, enjoying lunch, or simply taking in the coastal Village atmosphere, live music and entertainment will be part of the experience all day long.

Guests looking for specific performance times and locations can visit the information kiosk at the intersection of Grand Avenue and State Street during the event. The complete entertainment schedule will also be available on the Art in the Village event page closer to June 28.

With more than 150 artists, live demonstrations, interactive activities, and performances throughout downtown, Art in the Village promises a full day of creativity, culture, and community in the heart of Carlsbad Village.
