Mother’s Day weekend is almost here, and Carlsbad Village is filled with thoughtful ways to celebrate the moms, grandmothers, wives, friends, and mother figures who deserve a little extra love. From Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10, local businesses throughout the Village are offering brunch specials, creative workshops, shopping events, sweet treats, and relaxing experiences designed to make the weekend feel extra special.

Start the celebration with brunch and bubbly at one of the Village’s local favorites. Restaurants throughout downtown are offering festive menus and reservation opportunities perfect for celebrating together on Sunday, May 10. Le Papagayo is now accepting Mother’s Day reservations, while CBar is treating moms to a complimentary mimosa with the purchase of an entrée. Bluewater Grill is also joining the celebration with complimentary mimosas for moms dining on Mother’s Day, along with special cocktail offerings.

Several Village businesses are hosting memorable events throughout the weekend as well. On Saturday, May 9 at 10:00 AM and Sunday, May 10 at 10:30 AM, Handled Pottery Studio will host Mother’s Day handbuilding workshops where guests can create custom charcuterie dishes together in a fun and creative setting. Pure Project has also teamed up with Extraordinary Desserts for a Mother’s Day beer and dessert pairing experience taking place Sunday, May 10 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Shopping local is also part of the celebration this weekend. Village boutiques and specialty shops are offering curated gift guides, special promotions, complimentary wrapping, styling experiences, and more. Gazelle Fashion & Style is offering a complimentary one-hour styling session with the purchase of a $100 gift card, while Teressa Lane Jewelry is celebrating May 8–10 with permanent jewelry, floral bouquets, bubbles, free gift wrapping, and special gifts with purchase. Jayden P Boutique is also helping shoppers check Mom off their list with Mother’s Day savings throughout the weekend.

Always Hungry Grocery is hosting a Mother’s Day Market on Sunday, May 10 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM featuring local flowers, wine, home goods, treats, and grab-and-go meals. Barrio Glassworks is also showcasing handcrafted glass gifts perfect for Mother’s Day shopping in the Village.

For those wanting a little self-care, Bella Glo Med Spa is hosting a Mother’s Day Botox Party on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 with special pricing and treatment packages available throughout the event.
