The Carlsbad Village Association is pleased to announce that artist applications are now open for the 29th Annual Art in the Village, returning to the heart of Carlsbad Village on Sunday, June 27, 2027, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Each year, Art in the Village transforms downtown Carlsbad into a vibrant open-air gallery, welcoming thousands of visitors for a day dedicated to fine art, creativity, and community. The event brings together talented local and regional artists and provides an opportunity to showcase and sell original work in the heart of the Village.
Artists working in a wide variety of mediums are encouraged to apply, including ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. The event celebrates a diverse range of styles and artistic perspectives, giving visitors the opportunity to meet the artists, learn more about their work, and purchase original pieces directly from the creators.
Set just blocks from the beach and surrounded by the shops, restaurants, and businesses of Carlsbad Village, Art in the Village has become a longstanding community tradition and one of the Village’s signature annual events.
Applications for the 2027 event are now being accepted through ZAPP. Artists interested in participating are encouraged to review the application requirements and submit their work for consideration.
