Call for Artists: Applications Now Open for Carlsbad’s Art in the Village 2026

Art in the Village, Carlsbad’s signature summer art festival, is now accepting artist applications for the 2026 show, taking place on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Each year, this juried fine-art event fills Grand Avenue and State Street with original work from talented artists across painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, glass, wood, mixed media, and more. Thousands of attendees stroll the Village to experience and purchase art in this lively, coastal setting.

Artists are invited to submit a small portfolio, including a booth image, as part of the jury process. All work must be original and created by the applying artist to maintain the show’s high standards and handcrafted focus.
