Calling All Fine Artists: Applications Are Now Open for Art in the Village 2026!

lol The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is now accepting applications for the 28th Annual Art in the Village, taking place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in the heart of downtown Carlsbad. This signature one-day event transforms Carlsbad Village into an exceptional outdoor gallery, featuring original works from more than 130 juried fine artists and attracting thousands of collectors and art enthusiasts from across Southern California.

Since 1998, Art in the Village has celebrated artistic excellence and diversity, showcasing museum-quality pieces across a wide range of mediums including painting, mixed media, sculpture, photography, glass, ceramics, wood, and more. Participating artists benefit from strong exposure in a highly regarded show known for its high caliber of work, engaged audience, and vibrant atmosphere.

Application Details

Applications are now open. The early bird fee is $30 through January 15, 2026, and $40 after that date. Artists may submit up to five applications and a booth image is required. Emerging artists are encouraged to apply.
