Touted as the BEST and most scenic winter race with the BEST swag, the In Motion Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, January 16th. This year’s event consists of a full marathon, half marathon, Surf Sun Run and Double Down Challenge (5K + half marathon).
Newly added for 2022! LEGOLAND joins In Motion in presenting the 2022 Kids Marathon Mile. LEGOLAND will host this special one-mile fun run for kids of all ages and abilities. Before the doors open to the public, they're opened for participants to enjoy the sights and sounds of LEGOLAND! Participants can run, walk, skip or stroll, or even be pushed in a stroller or carried on a back as they wind through the park and back out to the finish line.
All events finish at The Shoppes at Carlsbad, where finishers can relax, celebrate and reunite with loved ones. Post-race festivities include live music, refreshments and a beer garden for participants age 21 and older with proper ID.
