Carlsbad Village Comes Together for Coastal Cleanup Day On September 19

Keeping Carlsbad Village beautiful is something we can all be part of, and this September, we’re joining forces for one of the biggest cleanup efforts of the year.

The Carlsbad Village Association is excited to partner with Lily Field Realty for I Love A Clean San Diego’s 42nd Annual Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Each year, Coastal Cleanup Day brings thousands of volunteers together at sites throughout San Diego County with one shared goal: protecting the places we live, work and enjoy. Here in Carlsbad Village, we’ll be doing our part by gathering at Lily Field Realty and heading out into the surrounding community to collect litter and debris before it can make its way into our waterways and ocean.

Everyone is welcome to join us. Bring your family, friends, coworkers or neighbors and spend the morning giving back to the Village and coastline we all love. The cleanup site is wheelchair and stroller friendly, and coffee, water and light refreshments will be available for volunteers.

To help make the morning even more sustainable, volunteers are encouraged to bring reusable cleanup supplies such as work gloves, buckets, trash pickers and reusable water bottles. There will also be prize drawings throughout the event, with additional opportunities to win for volunteers who arrive on time and bring reusable supplies.

A few hours and a few helping hands can add up to a big impact. We hope you’ll join CVA, Lily Field Realty and neighbors from across the community for a morning of working together and taking care of our corner of the coast.
