One of Carlsbad’s most anticipated traditions is just around the corner! The Carlsbad Village Street Faire returns on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 8am to 4pm, bringing thousands of visitors to the heart of Carlsbad Village for a full day of shopping, dining, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.

Hosted by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, the twice-yearly event has become a beloved community tradition and is recognized as the largest one-day street faire in the nation. Held on the first Sunday of May and November, the faire attracts more than 100,000 visitors and transforms the streets of Carlsbad Village into a bustling outdoor marketplace.

Visitors can explore hundreds of vendor booths featuring handmade arts and crafts, unique gifts, antiques, clothing, jewelry, and specialty items. With the holiday season approaching, the November faire is also a great opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping while discovering one-of-a-kind finds.

Beyond shopping, the faire offers plenty of ways to spend the day. Enjoy a wide variety of food from the international food court, catch live musical performances, visit the beer garden, or bring the kids to enjoy rides and activities designed for the whole family.

Make a Day of It in Carlsbad Village

With so many visitors coming to the Village for the faire, it’s also the perfect opportunity to explore the local businesses that make downtown Carlsbad special. Take a break from the festivities to enjoy a meal at a Village restaurant, grab a coffee, browse the boutiques, or discover a new favorite shop. Whether you’re a longtime local or visiting for the first time, there’s plenty to experience beyond the faire itself.

Getting to the Faire

Parking in Carlsbad Village will be limited during this popular event, so attendees are encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service. Shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes from two locations:

  • The Shoppes at Carlsbad, near the former Sears location
  • The Poinsettia COASTER Station on Avenida Encinas

Visitors are also encouraged to bike to the event and use available bike racks, although bike valet service will not be offered this year.
