Celebrate Earth Day Early at Our April 18 Community Clean-Up

Looking for an easy way to give back and spend a morning outside? Join us on Saturday, April 18 for our next Community Clean-Up in Carlsbad Village.

This clean-up comes just ahead of Earth Day, making it a great way to celebrate early while doing something meaningful close to home. It is also our last clean-up until August, so if you have been thinking about joining, now is the time.

We will meet outside Pure Project Carlsbad Village, located at 2825 State Street, at 9:30AM and clean until 11:30AM. You are welcome to stay the full time or drop in for as long as your schedule allows. Every bit helps.

Everything you need will be provided, including gloves, buckets, and pickers, with support from our local partners, Pure Project Carlsbad and Handel’s Ice Cream Carlsbad. You are also welcome to bring your own supplies, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Earlier this year, more than 80 volunteers came together and collected over 140 pounds of trash throughout the Village. It is a simple reminder of how much of an impact a couple of hours can make.

As a thank you, volunteers who collect two pounds or more of trash will receive a few local perks, including one dollar off pints at Pure Project, a free cone card from Handel’s Ice Cream, and coffee deals from Baba Coffee.

Whether you come with friends, family, or on your own, it is a great way to meet others and help keep Carlsbad Village clean, welcoming, and vibrant. We hope to see you there!
