There’s no better time to celebrate one of Carlsbad Village’s favorite weekly traditions. National Farmers Market Week is here, and we’re shining a spotlight on everything that makes the State Street Farmers Market such a special part of our community.

Since 1994, the State Street Farmers Market has been connecting our community with California farmers and fresh, locally grown food. Every Wednesday starting at 2:30 PM, the heart of Carlsbad Village fills with seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh flowers, eggs, honey, baked goods, specialty foods, and so much more. For more than three decades, the market has been a place where neighbors gather, shoppers support local farmers, and fresh food takes center stage.

National Farmers Market Week is the perfect opportunity to recognize the incredible people who make our market possible. Thank you to our hardworking farmers, food producers, volunteers, vendors, and loyal shoppers who continue to support this tradition week after week. Your dedication helps strengthen our local economy, support sustainable agriculture, preserve farmland, improve access to fresh, nutritious food, and keep local farms thriving for generations to come.

To celebrate, we’re adding a little extra fun to this Wednesday’s market with our Random Acts of Kindness Giveaway! From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, our team will be strolling through the market surprising shoppers with Market Money, our brand-new State Street Farmers Market tote bags, and other special goodies. There’s no sign-up and no purchase necessary. Simply come enjoy the market, and you might be one of our lucky recipients.
