Musical Kickoff: Celebrate the Season with Carlsbad’s Young Musicians!

On Friday, December 5, starting at 4:00 PM, the Fountain Parking Lot will come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the season in a free, family-friendly celebration that promises joy for all ages. We are excited to introduce Mucsical Kickoff to the Holidays. 

Hear the village fill with festive melodies as Carlsbad Middle and High School choirs, orchestras, and jazz ensembles take the stage. From classic carols to jazzy holiday tunes, these talented young musicians will warm hearts and get toes tapping. And no holiday celebration is complete without treats and two of our newest CVA members have you covered! Barons Market will offer fresh baked goodies, and Better Buzz Coffee will keep you cozy with hot chocolate, plus decaf and regular coffee, perfect for sipping as the music carries you through the evening.

While the Village awaits a permanent public gathering space, the Fountain Parking Lot will transform into a magical holiday stage, twinkling with lights and seasonal décor. Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to stroll the Village, enjoy live music, and support local businesses in the festive spirit of the season.

• 6:30 PM – Chamber Ensembles from Carlsbad and Sage Creek High Schools
• 7:00 PM – Carlsbad High School Holiday Jazz Band
