Coffee, Community, and Conversation: Village Voices Returns Tuesday, May 13th

Join us on Tuesday, May 13th, at the Dea Hurston New Village Arts Center for Village Voices, a morning dedicated to community connection, timely updates, and thoughtful conversation.

We’ll begin at 8:00 AM with complimentary coffee and breakfast offerings, generously provided by First Team Real Estate. This informal networking hour is a great opportunity to connect with fellow business owners, residents, and community leaders in a welcoming environment. Whether you’re a returning guest or attending for the first time, the morning provides a relaxed setting to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones.

At 8:45 AM, we’ll shift to community updates, including announcements about upcoming events, local initiatives, and a warm welcome to the newest Carlsbad Village Association business members.

At 9:00 AM, we’re pleased to feature guest speaker Paola Richards, founder of GelatoLove. Paola’s professional journey has taken her from wildlife journalist and UN campaign coordinator to a values-driven entrepreneur. As GelatoLove celebrates its 10th anniversary this month, she’ll reflect on the lessons learned in building a business grounded in quality, collaboration, and community connection.

The morning will conclude with a door prize giveaway featuring Carlsbad Farmers Market Money and a Village-branded tote bag.
