Come Together for Coastal Cleanup Day This Saturday, September 19

There’s still time to join your neighbors and give back this Saturday during I Love A Clean San Diego’s 42nd Annual Coastal Cleanup Day.

The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is proud to partner with Lily Field Realty (2965 Roosevelt St.) for this annual community effort on Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Volunteer spots are still available, and everyone is invited to spend the morning working together to help care for the place we call home.

I Love a Clean San Diego's Coastal Cleanup Day brings thousands of volunteers together at sites throughout San Diego County, all with a shared goal of keeping our neighborhoods, waterways and coastline clean. Locally, volunteers will gather at Lily Field Realty before heading into the surrounding area to collect litter and debris and make a visible difference in our community.

It’s also a wonderful opportunity to connect with neighbors while giving back. Families, friends, coworkers and community groups are encouraged to participate, and volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome. The site is wheelchair and stroller friendly, and coffee, water and light refreshments will be available throughout the morning.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring reusable supplies, including work gloves, buckets, trash pickers and reusable water bottles, to help make the cleanup as sustainable as possible. Prize drawings will also take place throughout the morning.

A cleaner community starts with people willing to lend a hand, and even a few hours can make a meaningful impact. With volunteer spots still available, we hope you’ll join CVA, Lily Field Realty and your fellow community members this Saturday for a morning of giving back and working together.
