Community Clean-Ups Are Back. Join Us Saturday, August 15

There is nothing better than seeing our community come together to care for the place we all love, and we’re excited to do it again on Saturday, August 15.

Whether you’ve joined us before or have been wanting to come out for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity. Grab a friend, bring your family, invite your neighbors, and help us make this our biggest Community Clean-Up yet.

We’ll meet outside Pure Project Carlsbad Village, 2825 State Street, at 9:30AM, and clean until 11:30AM. Stay for the full morning or join us for as long as you can. We’ll have gloves, buckets, and pickers ready for everyone.

Our last clean-up in April was one of our best yet. Together, volunteers collected 374.48 pounds of trash in just a few hours. Even more exciting, our Community Clean-Up program has now removed more than 5,070 pounds of trash, or more than 2.5 tons, from Carlsbad Village since it began. That is an incredible milestone made possible by volunteers who continue to show up and make a difference.

These clean-ups are made possible thanks to the generosity of our community partners. Pure Project provides the grain bags and pickers we use during each event, Handel’s Ice Cream donates repurposed ice cream buckets that help us collect trash, and Baba Coffee keeps our volunteers fueled with coffee perks. Volunteers who collect two pounds or more of trash will also receive thank-you perks from Pure Project, Handel’s Ice Cream, and Baba Coffee.

Every bag of trash collected helps keep Carlsbad Village beautiful, welcoming, and ready to be enjoyed by everyone who lives, works, and visits here. We are so fortunate to call this place home, and together we can continue making a lasting impact.
