Costumes, Candy & Community: Halloween in the Village Was a Treat!

What a Halloween! Carlsbad Village was filled with colorful costumes, candy, laughter and plenty of smiling faces this past Saturday as families came together for another memorable Halloween in the Village celebration.

After watching the weather forecast all week, we couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon! The rain stayed away, the sun made an appearance, and the Village was buzzing with Halloween excitement from start to finish.

From superheroes and princesses to spooky ghosts, clever costumes and entire families dressed in coordinating themes, the creativity was incredible! We especially loved seeing everyone show off their Halloween spirit during the annual costume contest at Village Faire Shopping Center. The costumes were truly impressive, and seeing the excitement on everyone’s faces made it even more fun.

Throughout the afternoon, little trick-or-treaters made their way from business to business, filling their buckets with treats and bringing plenty of Halloween cheer to our local storefronts. A special thank you to Phoenix Sports and Le Papagayo Carlsbad for supporting our safe, business-to-business trick-or-treating experience, and to all the participating Village businesses who welcomed families with open arms and plenty of candy!

The festivities got off to a sweet start thanks to CalRes Homes, which provided complimentary pumpkin candy buckets for our youngest visitors. Over at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, families enjoyed carnival games, a bounce house and plenty of Halloween fun, while Lily Field Realty helped make the celebration welcoming for everyone with allergy-friendly treats and sensory-friendly activities.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the generosity and enthusiasm of our incredible community. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our event sponsors, participating businesses, community partners and everyone who helped make this year’s Halloween in the Village such a success. From handing out candy and hosting activities to helping families make wonderful memories, each of you played a part in making the afternoon so special.

Seeing the Village filled with happy faces, creative costumes and neighbors enjoying time together is exactly what this event is all about. It’s a wonderful reminder of the community spirit that makes Carlsbad Village such a special place.
