CVA Partners with the City of Carlsbad to Offer One-on-One Small Business Support

The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is proud to partner with the City of Carlsbad’s Economic Development team to offer in-person Small Business Office Hours for Village businesses.

These one-on-one sessions give local business owners direct access to the City’s Small Business Liaison, providing personalized guidance, clarity, and connections to valuable resources. By hosting these office hours at the CVA office, we’re making it easier for businesses to get answers, navigate city processes, and move forward with confidence.

Each business may schedule a 30-minute appointment to discuss a wide range of topics, including business licenses, permitting requirements, zoning and land use questions, signage regulations, and commercial code enforcement concerns. Support is also available for understanding business classifications, navigating home-based versus commercial operations, and exploring available incentives, grants, or financial resources.

• Appointment Length: 30 minutes
• Coffee and light refreshments will be available

• Commercial code enforcement support
• Incentives, grants, and other financial resources
• Connections to external organizations and networking opportunities

This is an excellent opportunity for both new and established businesses to receive individualized support in a convenient, welcoming setting. Appointments are required. If Wednesdays are not convenient for you, hours are also available at the Carlsbad Central Library (Dove Library) located at 1775 Dove Lane Tuesdays from 9am to 11am.
