CVA Welcomes Two Dedicated Community Leaders to Its Board of Directors

The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is proud to welcome two new members to its volunteer Board of Directors, Cory Orcutt and Abby Snyder.

As a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the ongoing improvement, vitality, and success of Carlsbad Village, CVA works closely with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders who share a passion for making downtown Carlsbad a welcoming and thriving destination. Both Cory and Abby have already been longtime partners in that mission, making this next step feel especially meaningful.

Cory Orcutt, General Property Manager at the Village Faire, has worked closely with CVA on many community events and initiatives throughout the years. From supporting local programming to helping create memorable experiences for families, Cory and the Village Faire team have consistently shown their commitment to the Village community. Their participation in Halloween in the Village has become a standout part of the annual event, bringing creativity, enthusiasm, and community spirit year after year.

CVA is also excited to welcome Abby Snyder, COO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad. Through numerous collaborations with CVA, Abby has helped create meaningful opportunities for local youth and families to engage with the community. From having Boys & Girls Club members participate in the Kids’ Choice voting during the Holiday Window Decorating Contest to partnering on community events throughout the year, Abby and her team continue to make a positive impact in Carlsbad Village and beyond.

CVA is grateful for the passion, leadership, and community-minded perspective both Cory and Abby bring to the organization. Their longtime involvement in Carlsbad Village and dedication to supporting local connection and community will be an incredible asset to the board.
