First Clean-Up of 2026 Leaves Carlsbad Village Glowing

This past weekend, the Carlsbad Village 81 superstar volunteers came together for the first clean-up of 2026, collecting 141 pounds of trash and making an immediate impact throughout the Village. Volunteers spent the morning caring for streets, sidewalks, and public spaces, helping keep downtown clean, welcoming, and vibrant.

The clean-up was a reminder of how powerful community action can be. Neighbors of all ages worked side by side, connected with local businesses, and started the year by doing good for the place we all share.

We extend our sincere thanks to our longtime partners Handel’s Ice Cream Carlsbad, Pure Project Carlsbad Village, and Baba Coffee for supporting our volunteers and helping make the morning both meaningful and rewarding.
