12th Annual Flicks at the Fountain Returns July 10 with Exciting New Lineup

One of Carlsbad Village’s most cherished summer traditions is back! Flicks at the Fountain returns starting Thursday, July 10 through August 7, bringing family, friends, and neighbors together for five fun-filled Thursday nights of free outdoor movies in the heart of the Village.

Presented by the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) and supported by generous community sponsors, this year’s lineup features a perfect mix of animated adventures, musical favorites, and a brand-new superhero blockbuster to cap off the season.

Bring your low-back chairs, warm blankets, and your favorite snacks or grab dinner from one of the many nearby restaurants. Seating begins at 6:00 PM, and movies start at dusk (around 8:00 PM). It’s a perfect way to unwind, connect, and soak up the best of summer in Carlsbad.

2025 Flicks at the Fountain Lineup:

July 10 – Moana 2 (PG)

The ocean calls once again in this highly anticipated sequel, as Moana sets sail on a new adventure filled with heart, humor, and discovery.

July 17 – Little Giants (PG)

A family comedy about friendship, football and how the game of life should be played.

July 24 – Enchanted (PG)

A fairy tale collides with the real world in this charming musical comedy that’s equal parts whimsy and wit.

July 31 – Ratatouille (PG)

Follow Remy, a rat with culinary dreams, as he turns the Paris restaurant scene upside down in this animated classic.

August 7 – Captain America: Brave New World (PG-13)

The summer season wraps up with a bang as the Marvel Universe continues and a new hero rises to carry the shield.
