Give Blood, Save Lives and Get a Howl-O-Scream Ticket On September 26

The Heart of the Village Blood Drive is returning to Carlsbad Village on Saturday, September 26, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, giving our community another opportunity to come together and make a meaningful difference for patients in need.

The San Diego Blood Bank mobile drive will be located in the parking lot at Barrio Glassworks, at 3060 Roosevelt Street in Carlsbad Village, with appointments available throughout the day. Both whole blood and double red cell donations will be offered.

And this September, donating comes with a special seasonal perk. Anyone who presents to donate blood at a San Diego Blood Bank donor center or mobile drive September 1 through September 30 will receive one ticket to SeaWorld San Diego’s Howl-O-Scream, while supplies last.

Howl-O-Scream takes over SeaWorld San Diego on select nights from September 11 through October 31, featuring haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, thrill rides and more after dark. The complimentary ticket is valid for single-night admission to the separately ticketed nighttime event.

Most importantly, every donation helps support the local blood supply and patients throughout our region. Donors must generally be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.
