Carlsbad Village is gearing up for an afternoon filled with costumes, candy, music, and community fun. Halloween in the Village returns on Saturday, October 25, bringing back one of the community’s most beloved fall traditions.

Family Fun from 2–6 PM
Festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Carlsbad Village Association, located at 2697 State Street. The first 200 costumed children will receive a special Halloween keepsake, a mini tote they can decorate on-site or at home.
This tote is meant to be a keepsake and not large enough for collecting candy, so families are encouraged to bring their own trick-or-treat bags for the afternoon’s adventures.

Trick-or-Treating Through the Village
From 2:00 to 6:00 PM, families can explore the Village and enjoy a safe, business-to-business trick-or-treat experience. Participating local businesses will be marked with a candy corn icon in their windows, welcoming trick-or-treaters with festive decorations and plenty of Halloween spirit.
This event is designed to offer a fun and secure environment for children while giving families a chance to discover and support the Village's wonderful local shops and restaurants.

Activities and Entertainment
The Halloween celebration extends throughout the Village with special activities and entertainment for all ages:
- From 3:00 to 7:00 PM, the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad Village on Roosevelt Street will host a free community carnival featuring games, a bounce house, and seasonal snacks.
- The Village Faire Shopping Center will offer live music, trick-or-treating, and a costume contest at 4:00 PM, with prizes for creativity and spirit.
- Lily Field Realty on Roosevelt Street will host a Calm Zone from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, offering non-food treats and games.
- Handled Pottery on Oak Avenue will feature a Sensory Friendly Zone with crafts and photo opportunities.

Calling All Village Businesses
Carlsbad Village businesses are invited to join in the fun by becoming official candy stops. Participating as a candy stop is a great way to engage with the community, welcome families, and add to the festive Village atmosphere.
There is no cost to participate, just a little candy and a lot of Halloween spirit. Businesses interested in being included on the official trick-or-treat map can contact Chanel at chanel@carlsbad-village.com.

Families are encouraged to:
