Halloween in the Village is this Saturday, October 25, and Carlsbad Village is ready for a frightfully fun afternoon filled with costumes, candy, and community spirit. From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, families can enjoy safe, business-to-business trick-or-treating throughout the Village, with more than 60 local businesses ready to hand out candy to little ghosts and goblins.

Start Your Adventure on State Street

Festivities kick off at 2:00 PM at the Carlsbad Village Association booth at 2697 State Street, where the first 200 costumed children will receive a keepsake mini tote to decorate or take home. Families are encouraged to bring their own trick-or-treat bags, as the keepsake tote is designed as a souvenir and not large enough for collecting candy.

Safe Business to Business Trick-or-Treating

Trick-or-treating takes place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Families can find official candy stops by looking for the candy corn decals displayed in storefront windows. Don’t forget to bring a candy bag, wear your best costume, and check out the official candy stop map, now available to help plan your route through the Village.

Once the trick-or-treating begins, families can stroll through the Village, stopping by participating businesses marked with candy corn decals in their windows. Along the way, there will be plenty of entertainment, activities, and photo opportunities to make the day even more memorable.

  • Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad Village (3115 Roosevelt Street) will host a lively carnival from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, complete with games, a bounce house, and seasonal snacks.
  • Village Faire Shopping Center (300 Carlsbad Village Drive) will feature more trick-or-treating, live music, and a costume contest at 4:00 PM with prizes for creativity and Halloween spirit.
  • Lily Field Realty (2965 Roosevelt Street) will offer non-food treats and activities, along with an indoor Calm Zone designed for families who prefer a quieter, sensory-friendly experience.
  • Handled Pottery (390 Oak Avenue) will host a Sensory Friendly Zone featuring creative crafts and festive photo opportunities.

Halloween in the Village has become one of Carlsbad’s favorite fall traditions, bringing families, friends, and local businesses together for an afternoon of festive fun and community connection. With over 60 participating stops, live entertainment, and activities for all ages, this Saturday promises to be the sweetest celebration yet!
