Help Us Make Our Final Community Clean-Up of the Year the Best One Yet

Join us on Saturday, August 15 for our final Community Clean-Up of the year. Whether you have volunteered with us many times or have been waiting for the right opportunity to get involved, we would love to have you be part of this special morning.

Volunteers will meet outside Pure Project Carlsbad Village, 2825 State Street, at 9:30AM, and the clean-up will continue until 11:30AM. Stay for the full two hours or participate for as long as you are able. Every set of helping hands makes a difference.

We will have gloves, buckets, grain bags, and pickers ready when you arrive, so all you need to bring is comfortable walking shoes and a willingness to help. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers and help us finish the year with our biggest turnout yet.

Our volunteers have already made a remarkable impact. At our April clean-up, the community collected 374.48 pounds of trash in just one morning. Since the program began, volunteers have removed more than 5,070 pounds of trash, which is more than 2.5 tons, from the streets, sidewalks, and shared spaces of Carlsbad Village.

We are also incredibly grateful for the community partners who help make each clean-up possible. Pure Project provides the grain bags and pickers, Handel’s Ice Cream supplies repurposed ice cream buckets, and Baba Coffee offers coffee perks for our volunteers. Those who collect two pounds or more of trash will receive additional thank-you perks from these local partners.

These clean-ups are about more than the amount of trash collected. They are an opportunity to meet neighbors, spend time outside, and show pride in a place that means so much to so many of us.
