Holiday Makers Market Was Filled With Fun And Generosity

The 7th annual Holiday Makers Market Showcase, hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA), was a resounding success on a bright Saturday afternoon.

Over 40 vendors filled St. Michael's beautiful venue with holiday cheer and high-quality gift items.

CVA sincerely thanks St. Michael's Church for generously providing their venue for this holiday event each year. Additional thanks to our talented musicians, Interim Coffee for fueling the vendors, and all who supported the bountiful Toys for Tots toy and monetary donation drive sponsored by Chanel Bennett Real Estate. 

"The outpouring of support from the community was awe-inspiring. Through the collective efforts of our sponsors and the kind-hearted donors, we were able to gather an abundance of toys for children who might not otherwise experience the joy of the holiday season," said Chanel.

"To everyone who contributed, volunteered, and participated in making this event a resounding success, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your selflessness and compassion have touched the lives of countless children, spreading hope and happiness during this special time of year. The winners from our drawing were ecstatic and grateful for the generosity from The Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort, Carlsbad Village Association, The Crossings at Carlsbad, Throtl, and Cobra Puma Golf."

New this year were professional photos with Santa, hosted by CVA. Santa's presence and holiday photo opportunities added to the merriment. Photographer Tanya Perez captured heartwarming pictures of little ones, families, and even our four-legged kids, that will be perfect for this year's photo card. 

The spirit of unity and kindness displayed throughout the Toy Drive serves as a testament to the incredible community we have in Carlsbad. As we wrap up this heartwarming event, let's carry this spirit of giving forward, not just during the holidays, but throughout the year.
