Holiday Window Decorating Contest: Celebrating This Year’s Winners

The Village is sparkling brighter than ever as the winners of this year’s Holiday Window Decorating Contest have been announced! From imaginative displays to festive creativity, local businesses truly brought the holiday spirit to life throughout the Village.

Congratulations to all the winners: each category winner will be featured in the January/February issue of Carlsbad Magazine, and the People’s Choice Award winner also receives a ¼-page ad in Carlsbad Magazine plus restaurant gift cards for up to 10 team members.

This year’s winning categories:

Classic Holiday Charm – Cbar

Children’s Delight – Kai Ola Sushi

Most Creative Display – Handel's Ice Cream

Best of Carlsbad Spirit – Senor Grubby's

People’s Choice Award – North Coastal Art Gallery

Residents and visitors played a big part in making this contest a success, voting for their favorite displays and celebrating the creativity that makes the Village shine each holiday season. 

A special thank you to the Boys & Girls Club of Carlsbad Village for judging the creativity and colors like true holiday experts. With official voting ballots in hand, the kids ages 6 to 13 strolled the Village looking closely at every window, proud to be part of this annual tradition that connects them to the community in a special way. And thank you to the judges from Carlsbad Magazine for not only sponsoring this year’s contest, but also for strolling the Village in search of holiday spirit—one window at a time.
