Village Voices returns next Tuesday, March 10, and we’re looking forward to another energizing morning in the heart of Carlsbad Village. Join us from 8:00 to 9:30 AM at the Dea Hurston New Village Arts Center, 2787 State Street. Coffee and networking begin at 8:00 AM, followed by the program from 8:45 to 9:30 AM. It’s a productive, positive way to start your day while staying connected to what’s happening downtown.
Village Voices continues to bring together business owners, residents, and community partners in a welcoming, professional setting. It’s where updates are shared, ideas are exchanged, and the relationships that keep Carlsbad Village thriving grow even stronger.
This month, John Smith, owner of the Carlsbad 5000, will offer insights into the world’s fastest 5K and one of the region’s most celebrated events. Learn more about its impact on the Village and how you can be part of the excitement.
We will also hear from Tom Frank, Director of Transportation, and Nestor Mangohig, City Engineer, both with the City of Carlsbad. They will share updates on 60 new light poles coming to the Village, the status of the decorative lighting plan, and parking updates for Grand Avenue. As always, downtown business owners will provide brief updates, giving everyone a snapshot of what’s new and noteworthy across the Village.
The Green Business Alliance will host an informational table for businesses interested in becoming green certified. The Carlsbad Village Association is proud to have recently achieved green certification and looks forward to helping others take that step.
Whether you’re a regular attendee or considering joining for the first time, Village Voices is your opportunity to stay informed, get involved, and be part of the continued momentum in Carlsbad Village. We hope to see you next Tuesday morning.
