Carlsbad Village is buzzing with excitement this weekend for Small Business Saturday on November 29. This nationwide celebration of small and independent businesses is the perfect opportunity to shop local, explore your favorite spots, and discover new ones while supporting the heart of our downtown. Every purchase makes a difference for the entrepreneurs, artisans, and families who make the Village so special.
From giveaways to a Grand Prize Drawing, and even live holiday music, the day is packed with ways to celebrate and enjoy everything our local businesses have to offer.
CVA Welcome Booth & Giveaway Tree
Stop by the Carlsbad Village Association booth at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Grab your Gift Card Giveaway Tree drawing ticket (no purchase necessary) for a chance to win! The Gift Card Giveaway Tree holds the magic to $2,000 in gift cards from local restaurants and retailers.
• Drawings begin at 11:30 AM and continue every half hour, with the final drawing at 3:30 PM
• Winners will receive a text and have 30 minutes to claim their prize at the booth
• All prizes must be collected by 4:00 PM
The first 100 shoppers will also receive a complimentary canvas tote bag for carrying treasures from a full day of shopping.

Additionally, the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) purchased gift cards from every restaurant that participated in this year’s Taste of Carlsbad Village as a heartfelt thank you for their involvement. These cards will also be part of the Giveaway Tree, highlighting the amazing variety of businesses that make our Village truly one of a kind. You could win a $100 gift card to one of our amazing downtown restaurants!

1. Pure Project Pint Glass Hunt
Search the Village for custom pint glasses created by Barrio Glassworks. These special glasses have been placed inside participating businesses. If you find one, it is yours to keep. This is a fun and interactive way to visit new spots and explore the Village at your own pace. Check in at the CVA booth for more details.
2. Beach Terrace Inn Selfie Challenge
For an additional chance to win big, stop by the booth to learn how a selfie at Beach Terrace Inn could turn into a free night stay at the Beach Terrace Inn and a $300 gift card Staycation package.
