Kona Craft Cafe Takes the Top Bite at Taste of Carlsbad Village: Brunch Edition

After a delicious day filled with incredible brunch bites, refreshing sips, live music, and smiling faces throughout downtown, attendees of Taste of Carlsbad Village: Brunch Edition cast their votes for their favorite bite of the event and the results were incredibly close.

We’re excited to congratulate Kona Craft Cafe as the winner of this year’s Best of Brunch Bite honor. Their flavorful Kalua Pork Moco paired with a House Cured Salmon Blini stood out among an impressive lineup of dishes served throughout the Village. Well done Chef Brad Thomas and Aaron Williams - Kona Craft Cafe is on everyone's must-do list, and it's not surprising why. Well done!

From sweet to savory and everything in between, this year’s event showcased the creativity, hospitality, and talent that make Carlsbad Village such a special dining destination. Every participating restaurant brought something unique to the table, making it a memorable experience for the hundreds of guests who spent the afternoon exploring the Village one bite and sip at a time.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the restaurants, sip stop hosts, beverage brands, musicians, volunteers, and businesses that helped bring the event to life. Events like Taste of Carlsbad Village are truly a community effort, and we’re so grateful for everyone who participated, supported, and attended.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. The energy throughout the Village was unforgettable, and we loved seeing the community gather together over great food, drinks, and local connection.
