Keep it Clean Carlsbad! Let’s End the Year with a Sparkling Downtown

The final Carlsbad Village Clean-Up of 2025 is here, and we’re closing out the year with one last morning of community spirit, teamwork, and clean streets. Join us this Saturday, November 8, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM outside Pure Project Carlsbad (2825 State Street) as we give the Village a fresh shine before the holidays.

Bring your friends, family, and coworkers and make it a morning to remember. Whether you’ve joined us before or you’re coming for the first time, these clean-ups are easy, rewarding, and a great way to connect with neighbors while making a real impact.

Since our clean-ups began, volunteers have collected an incredible 4,132.91 pounds of trash from sidewalks, streets, and open spaces. Together, we’re aiming for a new milestone of 4,500 pounds before the year ends and with your help, we can get there.

This is also your last chance to enter the Trash Champion Contest. A few teams are neck and neck for the title, and the winner will be announced by December 1, 2025. The grand prize includes six months of free trash service from Republic Services or a reward of equal value.

We’ll have gloves, grabbers, and buckets ready while supplies last, but if you have your own tools, please bring them to help reduce waste and keep the effort sustainable. Volunteers who collect at least two pounds of trash will also earn rewards from our local partners, including cone cards from Handel’s Ice Cream, discounts on coffee drinks at Baba Coffee, and $1 off pints and flight cards at Pure Project Carlsbad.
