Let’s Reach 4,000 Pounds! Join the Carlsbad Village Clean-Up This Saturday

Since the start of the Carlsbad Village Clean-Up program, our amazing volunteers have collected 3,475 pounds of litter from streets, sidewalks, and public spaces. That’s more than a ton and a half. WOW! Now, we’re setting our next goal of 4,000 pounds, and we’re getting closer with every clean-up.

Join us this Saturday, May 10th, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, as we team up once again to keep Carlsbad Village looking its best. We’ll be meeting outside Pure Project Carlsbad (2825 State Street). We’ve got gloves, grabbers, and buckets ready to go (while supplies last), but if you have your own tools, feel free to bring them. It’s a great way to help us cut down on waste.

Volunteering comes with some sweet perks. As a thank you, every participant gets a scoop of ice cream from Handel’s Ice Cream, discounts on coffee at Baba Coffee, and $1 off a pint at Pure Project. Not a bad way to wrap up a morning of giving back!

And there’s more: Every clean-up you attend gets you closer to winning our year-end Trash Champion Contest. The individual or team that collects the most trash in 2025 will win six months of free trash service from Republic Services, or equally awesome prizes of the same value.

These clean-ups happen every other month and keep growing, thanks to people like you. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or trying it out for the first time, we’d love to have you with us.
