Main Stage Musicians Set the Tone at 27th Annual Art in the Village

Art in the Village returns for its 27th year on June 22nd, transforming the downtown streets into a lively celebration of creativity. With more than 130 fine artists showcasing original work across a variety of mediums, the event offers visitors a rich and engaging cultural experience.

Adding to the atmosphere this year is a carefully curated Main Stage lineup, featuring three exceptional Southern California bands whose performances will carry from morning through evening.

The day begins at 11:00 AM with the Morgan Leigh Band, whose polished blend of country-pop and heartfelt originals sets an energetic tone. Led by Morgan Leigh, a two-time American Idol contestant and Texaco Country Showdown state champion, the band delivers a professional, spirited performance that resonates with longtime country fans and new listeners alike.

At 1:30 PM, The Ramblin’ Sweethearts take the stage with their distinctive fusion of rockabilly, blues, and roots rock. Known for their passionate musicianship and vintage flair, this Carlsbad-based band brings a fresh yet nostalgic sound that invites audiences to tap their feet and get lost in the music.

The day winds down at 4:00 PM with the David Spitzfaden Trio. Performing a mix of blues rock, R&B, funk, jazz fusion, and pop—originals and covers—this trio takes their audiences on a unique musical journey. Their uplifting, playful, and positive spirits create an exciting and welcoming atmosphere at their shows—that virtually any and every demographic can enjoy. You can catch them rockin’ until 6:00 PM.
