The countdown is on. In just one month, Art in the Village returns to downtown Carlsbad Village for its 28th year, bringing a full day of creativity, inspiration, and community to the heart of the Village.
On Sunday, June 28 from 10AM - 6PM, streets throughout downtown will come alive with more than 160 fine artists showcasing original works in a wide variety of mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, glass, jewelry, mixed media, and more. Whether you’re a longtime art collector or simply enjoy discovering something new, Art in the Village offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with talented artists and explore their work in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Beyond the artist exhibits, visitors can enjoy live music throughout the day, interactive art experiences, artist demonstrations, and family-friendly activities.
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Meet the artists behind the work
- Enjoy live artist demonstrations including sculpting and painting
- Experience live chalk art, where artists create vibrant street art throughout the day
- Watch a mural come to life by local artist Taylor Gallegos
- See first-hand Carlsbad's all solar powered vehicle by Aptera Motors, which is a piece of art in itself
What makes Art in the Village so special is the way it blends art, culture, and community with the charm of downtown Carlsbad. Spend the day browsing one-of-a-kind artwork, enjoying a meal at a local restaurant, and experiencing the creative energy that fills the Village each year.

Hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association, Art in the Village has become one of North County’s most anticipated summer traditions, drawing thousands of residents and visitors alike. Mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and get ready to experience a day where creativity takes center stage. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the Village on June 28.
